What's on?

Something for Everyone

We normally have lots of activities, suitable for everyone but at present Covid-19 means we cannot use the building as normal and activities are very limited.

Sundays

Sunday mornings are normally a service for the whole church. On the first Sunday of every month we have a 'Cafe Style' service at 10.00am where the hall is laid out with sofas and chairs in family groups and people can sit anywhere. There are tables and creative activities for the children. The service is typically an hour long and interactive. Coffee and croissants are served before hand (10am)

On the other Sundays we start at 10.30am with a time of worship - singing songs that express our love and appreciation to God. The children then go to Kings Club (age based groups) for activities and opportunities to learn Bible stories which teach good principles for life and living in community with others. The adults continue worship, sometimes with someone sharing briefly about something God has done in their life recently. This is followed by a talk, teaching things we can learn from the bible that can be applied to our lives today. The service closes with a couple of songs. Tea & coffee is then served and there is opportunity to chat and socialise

At present Covid-19 presents us from meeting together so the church puts together a service on line. This starts with a children's talk/activity followed by a talk and finishes with two worship songs. You can listen to all or any part of it. Click below if you want a link sent each week to you so you can watch the service.

Weekdays

During the week people meet in groups at home. Typically meeting at 8pm with a group of around 10 people there is a social time to catch up with one another and how our week has been. This is followed by study and discussion on a life topic taken from the bible. This is a great time to ask questions, learn from one another's experiences and talk through difficult issues. After the study there is still time to chat. The aim of the group is to care for and support one another and be able to learn in a safe, friendly environment

At present Covid-19 prevents meeting but we still meet on line using Zoom. If you would like to join a group or find out more, click the button below
