Churches in the town

Enhancing the Quality of Life in Market Harborough

The churches in the town play a major part in supporting the community. It may surprise you that 3,500 people go to activities every week that are provided by the churches. The churches provide 29 rooms for many voluntary groups and community organisations. There are organisations provided by the churches to help the town with young people, mental health, poverty and even protection in the town at night.

These are examples:

The Cube youth work

Bower House counselling services

Street Pastors

Jubilee Foodbank

Justice & Peace Group

Prison Fellowship

Hospital & Home services

Mums & Tots

Coffee shops

4,800 attendances a week are typical
